As a radio "Ham" I operate on HF and also /P on the satellites, including UO-14, SO-50, AO-51 (the easysats with FM) and the ISS. Also I like to monitor and report satellite telemetry.
I've operated on the FM satellites in EA6, EW, F, G, LZ, SV8, TK, YL and YO. The picture shows the set up used at EA6 - a FT-51R with 5 watts output, an Arrow antenna, and a sony walkman cassette recorder.
